Biking in Annecy, France.

We were really tired from the previous five hours driving in bad weather. We slept like stones!

Breakfast was late,  at 10AM in our hotel’s well appointed breakfast room.

We got on our bikes and we went to  the Promenade _  a beautiful biking path along the lake.

The perimeter of Annecy lake is 42km and today we didn’t complete the loop around it. Maybe tomorrow? 🙂

After biking around, we returned to Old Town where we parked our bikes and went to have lunch. There I had my favorite ever:  “moules frites”. Delicious!!!

After lunch we went to the Promenade around the lake (again).  At this time we sat to watch a great concert that was taking place there.

A local school was presenting classical music played by its students and it was magical!  Too good to see many parents taking their small children in their strollers to watch the show!

It’s such an inspired place to walk around, take pictures and enjoy life! Annecy is a place not to be missed for the ones who love to travel to awesome destinations! 🙂
