Alexandria, Virginia: It’s always good to be there

From Paris we flew to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where we stayed during one week.

After visiting our family members in Rio we returned to our “love nest” in Alexandria, Virginia.

If you like to photograph the autumn colors (who doesn’t?)  consider a trip to Alexandria and you will have a blast!

One of our favorite places to walk and bike is the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

Near Belle Haven Marina we saw these beautiful ducks.

Fall in Virginia is really pretty and we were delighted to see the red leaves on the trees.

After walking on the dirty streets of Paris (please read  previous post), nothing could be better than walk along Alexandria paths: they are safe, beautiful and clean!

We walked all way to the end of the trail at Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve and at the time we returned the pretty ducks were still there!
