Vancouver #1 attraction: Stanley Park

Stanley Park Trails

Lost Lagoon with frozen ice: Beautiful!

Stanley Park is a huge park located downtown Vancouver. The park is absolutely gorgeous!

There is a  paved path along the shore (the popular Sea Wall),  but besides this well known  path,  there are many “hidden gems”, like the trails that go through the forest!

These are like hidden treasures in this treasure city!

Just  get a trail map (online or at the entrance of the park) and you will find  many wonderful walking / biking  opportunities!

We went there during  a  beautiful and cold day.  It was amazing to see the Lost Lagoon covered with thin ice!

There are huge trees there!  Just look up in the sky and you will see how tall they are!

If you are into photography (as I am), “getting lost”  into the woods is a wonderful experience although there is no way of getting lost because all trails are very well marked!  It is just an expression to give you an idea of how good this walking can be!
