I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and lived there till October 2012 when I moved to Canada with my husband.
In Rio I worked as an Architect and Interior Designer with hundreds of clients and published works on the most prestigious newspapers and magazines.
We have three adult children. Two of them live in Rio with their families, and the younger went to work in the US as soon as he finished College in Rio. He lives in the East Coast.
The day we landed in Canada as Permanent Residents is for sure, one of the happiest days in our lives!
I live in downtown Vancouver and this is the same as living in paradise: Everything is beautiful, clean and safe. Besides, in my opinion, the Canadians are the friendliest people on Earth, with the Scottish and Texans coming close in the second position.
In this blog I will be writing about facts and findings not only around Vancouver, but also about the places we travel (and we travel a lot!).
There will be posts written in English, because I want to increase my audience (haha), and others in Portuguese (my native language).
Thanks for your visit, have fun and drop me a line if you wish! I love getting feedback from my readers!
